Fukugi Dyed Gabardine Fatigue Jacket

$528.00

A beloved option for in-between seasons, the fatigue jacket has long been a favorite alongside denim jackets and French work jackets.

This version takes its cue from the 4th generation of U.S. military fatigue jackets—rather than the 1st or 2nd—minimizing visible external stitching and using the same felled seams found in high-end shirt construction.

Crafted from Japanese cotton gabardine, it offers a sturdy texture while maintaining moderate water resistance thanks to its solid weight.

The dyeing process employs the traditional Fukugi method from Amami Ōshima Island, using natural dye extracted from Fukugi trees, which historically served as protective fences around coastal homes.

With its unique texture and naturally rich color, this fatigue jacket strikes a perfect balance between military-inspired functionality and traditional dyeing craftsmanship, making it an excellent choice for transitional weather.
