This piece reimagines gajiroc’s signature inverted box-pleated trousers into a shorts design.

 By using the same Japanese cotton gabardine and the traditional mud-dye process from Amami Ōshima employed in our fatigue jacket, it pairs seamlessly as a set while also standing out beautifully on its own.

The gabardine fabric has a balanced weight, excellent durability, and a firm texture unique to cotton gabardine. 

During the dyeing process, an extract from the wood tree and the island’s mud are repeatedly applied in multiple immersion steps, resulting in a deep, subtle color and a naturally cracked finish.
