The tweed coat that was originally launched in the 22AW season has returned as a herringbone coat. It is designed with the vintage Balmacaans of the 20th century as its motif.
This coat features both raglan sleeves and a Bal collar, which are characteristic of the Balmacaan style. The Bal collar has a longer upper lapel than the lower lapel, creating a naturally rolled lapel with an unbuttoned top button.
The raglan sleeves are made in the one-panel sleeve pattern, commonly referred to in the Japanese fashion industry, providing a relaxed and natural silhouette.
The lower lapel is long enough to match the length of the upper lapel, allowing for versatile styling options.
The herringbone fabric used for the coat's exterior comes from Abraham Moon & Sons in the UK, while the cotton twill and cupro twill used for the linings are sourced from Tokyo Textile in Japan and Loisor, which exclusively collects raw materials from Mt. Fuji. The Horn buttons are from Iris, Japan.
