This coat is cut from Japanese yarn-dyed cotton silk gabardine, combining structure with fluidity. 

The saddle shoulder construction—more common in knitwear—creates a seamless transition from front to back, fusing the look of set-in sleeves with the feel of raglan. 

Inside, a cotton-linen shirting fabric lines the body, while smooth cupro is used for the sleeves.
